Tragic Accident at the Airport..
How can such a tragedy occur ?
let this be a warning to all of us to be more careful and Think before acting ..

A five-month-old baby boy died on Wednesday night after a horrific accident on a baggage collection conveyor belt at a Spanish airport.
The boy's family had just touched down at the Alicante-Elche Airport for their holidays in nearby Denia on Spain's Costa Blanca when tragedy struck.
Police sources say that the boy's mother placed him on the special baggage belt - which is reserved for the collection of larger suitcases, pushchairs and musical instruments
However, it was then switched on and the carousel started moving.
The infant was whisked to the entrance of the bag drop portal where the bags emerge, becoming tangled and trapped.
Paramedics rushed to save the child's life, but it was too late. He was declared dead at the scene.

At every airport I have ever been to, there are always signs on or near the conveyor belt warning customers never to step on or touch the conveyor belt. Poor kid gone and a family ripped to pieces because of one act of stupidity.
Mother should be done for manslaughter.
..no brain whatsoever.
Sometimes at Doha airport I can see kids are jumping and running on the belt, and mothers say no word... they are criminals and should go to jail.
Very tragic indeed..the mother must be such a wreck now with sadness and guilt. Probably must have been one of those careless split second decisions that many of us moms might be guilty of sometime in life.
The thing that gave me goosebumps is that my daughter reminded me, when I related to her this story, that a long time back, when we were at the airport, she had joked with me about sitting on the conveyor belt! Thank God she never wen't ahead and did it, but this made me realize how something so deadly can occur even a place you might least expect it.
I read this earlier, so very sad. I just can't seem to comprehend why the mother put the baby there.
