Hello everyone.I am having a very serious issue between me and my sponsor.I am a Nigerian.Although we bought visa into this country. And we do pay for any necessary documents we need like Residential permit and renewal of residential permit and so on.I was about to renew my ID and i gave my sponsor the money requested for it.After few weeks of payment,Later he told me the ID of the company has expired. It has been 3-4 months now i havent renew my ID in which im now having some demorage to pay. This isnt my fault though.I have tried so many times to contact him but he wouldn't respond.I went to Immigration today and they refered me to police or the CID in Industrial area.I was told this man has been putting people to blacklist or even canceling their visas. What right does he have to do this while the company ID is expired.I am afraid to be sent back home. PLease i need advice on what to do.Can anybody give me his or her attention??

Funny how people who have privileged passport is accusing people of buying a visa when they don't know its not so easy like it is for them you can go directly to immigration and get a visa or we have a transparent visa route like you can get visas we are compound to buy a visa either school or work route or through school routes hard for a company to legitimately sponsor us to their countries mostly Nigerians our visa prices are very expensive for us than other Africans so don't accuse him if you can't encourage him and p.s our embassies don't fight for us at all

Hi Dolly... Its a pity...thats the situation we found ourselves. Though, we were told a different story back home before coming up to this so called Sh-t.... I sincerely understand ur fear of being repatriated back to Lag, friends et family issues... Going by these, the best bet now is taking up the advice from Mandi (watever), try all means - get a job with at least a considerable salary and transfer ur sponsorship.... Then, u might relief urself off these so-called Slave-Stress BULLSH-T...

Even, they are all (sponsors) same, what i'm I even saying, just very few of them are Human, others are inhuman. Want the best but can't make anything... Dump-headed, nincomp--ps (Imagine a country building the world's biggest market... Where are the manufacturing industries..Name them please...? Wanna cast there lives on imports stuffs... When u tasty and u need something to eat or drink, have u ever take a moment to read the imprint.. Made in KSA, UAE, etc even ur Shirts and Jeans u wearing.. a lot... and thats a country aspiring.... Even listed among the richest... and still charge a fortune on Karwa, the claimed national transport Service, co-owned by the wife of the Sheikh (I'm sorry, SHEIKHA...i'm not being disrespectful, only saying the FACT and if u check well, I'm saying the truth) still cant beat tarrif down when they got the oil and diesel to fuel the cars even drivers working 11hours earning 1200 - 1800 monthly statistically earning 40-60QR daily..? tats very very BAAAAAADDD... For Qatar.. Its BAD... I'm saying all these cos i got tired with their lackadaisical attitude and act of inhuman of some so-called Qatari. The name got to theie head as if they got the Whole-world (Hehehehehe) What should the Americanas, Canadian, Australians, Britons etc do when they got Civilized Decades or Centura before Qatar was borne...I mean Doha was born cos thats the only place i see here in Qatar..(Hehehehheheehe)....? Got a compendium of the Country - planning a move out soon, tired already, i got good job but fed up with their ways... a man works several months and salaries are held... Tats termed as a criminal act in the United States and other more civilized countries... VERY CALLOUS sets of people -

Well back to the issue....Just get ur head straightened-up.. 9ja no de carry last.. u no undastnd..?

BE WISE AND DON'T COMPLICATE THINGS..OK..? GOOD LUCK BRO...

just go ASAP and file a labor complaint. a labor complaint holds ur sponsor power to deport u, pending the investigation of the labor complaint which takes priority.

I'm afraid not. We looked into it for a Nigerian guy who got duped and came here as a "bricklayer" and we couldn't do it. No legitimate Nigerian visas were available. He ended up as a bricklayer with a college degree. I could only do it for my Ethiopian friend because she worked for me and because there were Ethiopian visas available. What is your profession?

Yeah..So as u did for ur friend, can u also do that for me??

I know they do, you are right. And the gov't does receive some benefit from keeping some illegal workers. But the workers are virtual slaves and we just can't let that happen! I bought a friend's freedom for her from her Ethiopian visa seller. The gov't won't do enough to stop this so we must do it.

Good. Now u are talking like a friend....But do u know that Qatar Govt knows about selling and buying visas.I read it in the Human right pocket handbook.

I am a Christian from the United States. And you're right, I have been very harsh with you. If you look at my other posts you will see that I am very polite. But human trafficking just makes my blood boil. I am sorry, I should see you as a victim rather than as a perpetrator. Your sponsor is a disgrace to humanity, we can probably agree on that. All I can say is, try to get another job with a legitimate sponsor. I do wish you all the best.

I am sorry, but it IS your fault for buying a visa. Did you think that a person who sells illegal visas, in other words, a human trafficker, would be honest with you? Did you really think this would end well? Your actions enabled this human trafficker to ply his trade on more innocent victims than you. Evidently you were totally complicit. Are you even working? I hesitate to say get a job and transfer your visa because I suspect your slave-master would never allow that. The best thing you can do - the most moral and honest - is bring your visa seller down with you. Get him deported as well. And tell as many people as you can to not become involved in the slave trade. Shame on you!

buy and sell VISA in this country they are considered for harsh punishment. And those buying VISA fall into this "loop" in which the law can not do anything to help you.

Regardless of your situation if the authorities come in full action you could be deported.

Regards!!
