BTW, laban is like buttermilk. You can get it full-fat, lo-fat or skimmed varities. A popular brand is Al Marai. Found in refridgerated section next to the milk. Delicious and good for the digestion.

About cool shower- turn off the water heater in ur bathroom. it will cool down in the container-also, put the fan on in the bathroom.

turn off the water heater in the summer, then when u turn on the hot water, u get cold water running out.. works very well.. unless of course you've got a central water heater.... then u're ....

the better thing to do is buy laban al-marayee or any one you like, drink it , best is to mix it with water/milk and a pinch of salt ; put some ice. drink it and you feel much more cooler.

plus you wont gain weight.

and drink 2-3 glass of it every day. you will get cool down.

Thats the problem with houses in Qatar... all the rooms are carpeted... hot water ya say??wat i do is in the summer i have a pail in every bathroom before going to bed fill it up for the next mornings shower then fill it up again for the next shower- there no hot water but nice cool water to bathe with.....and it helps- give it a try
