I had applied for an QTEL internet and mozaic package and when the technician came to install it, he saw there a tree covering the pole of QTEL on the street. Now these guys are asking me to cut the branches of the tree which is on the public road. There is lot issues happened over it and when I denied it, they are still insisting me to cut it. Well how am I supposed to go through this issue? Is there anyone who had this experience please help me out to deal it.

I tried in lot of ways by calling 115. But its of no use because the QTEL is very rude. Although i asked them to help me still they denied. They just said go top muncipality and ask them to cut the tree. When I did so, they said it will take more than a month. Just see how long we have to wait and suffer without internet.

Hi beastsap. I work at Qtel, and I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with the installation. If you want, someone from the Qtel customer helpdesk will call you to try to resolve. Just PM me your details and we'll be in touch.

Why not? can they provide you with the contact info? I am sure they see the same issue often, or they have instructions from Qtel.

they are strictly saying that I need to call muncipality to get the tree cut

Qtel does not send their employees for such jobs, rather their contractors. A call to Qtel with stern complain might render these contractors jobless, and you happy.

Wasnt there a new scheme from Qtel that they would fix your Qtel problems in 5 days or they will give your money back?

Even if he cuts the branches they would grow again!

just phone qtel offices, and ask "when the heck will my internet line be installed?" (without mentioning trees). tell them they came but did nothing.

You are not supposed to cut any trees. If the pole is covered by the tree it is the job of QTel to do the necessary.
