I had to smile at this, having been through an identical experience when I first tried to visit the Qatar National Museum:

"In all but the currency room, the objects were simply placed at various spots around the room with no accompanying text or signage whatsoever, not even in arabic. Within 10 minutes I began feeling nauseated."
