For all the football lovers there is a bad news. The news is that playing football at the airport garden ( In front of the airport signals ) has been banned by the Doha Municipality. The reason being that by playing football the grass is not able to grom properly. Now my question is that where are we expatriate people supposed to play football. As per my knowledge if you want to join any club for playin football you have to be a qatari. So what do you guys think ............

"Who Do I Petition / Write letter to about this

By charmed on Tue, 09/10/2007 - 12:03pm

Who do I petition too?

Ok so im sure you all know the ( only ) big green park which is up at the airport, you know the huge park where kids play football at the weekend and people excerize and such like?

The authorites have now decided that there should be no football in this park and no walking the dogs oh and no eating!

Im very angry about this - what can i do? I mean i walk my dogs and clean up after them, all the time there - so where am i suppose to walk my dogs now? Also who gives someone the right to stop kids playing footbal!!!!!!!! That is unbelivale! if its a park surely the kids are allowed to play football!

I mean not walking my dogs there - well i will find somewhere else

Stopping kids from playing football in the only green park which isnt at the Corniche???? Thats cruel and so very wrong - were are the kids suppose to go?

What can i do about this any ideas?"
