If not that place, then a very good place in the name of Tally near the Airport is gone, that was a real good place to meet, maybe we could meet at say the Sheraton Park on the Corniche, aaraaam se baitke, chai peeney ka and have a chit chat...say what...socho zara hatke...

And as for the team, I've almost drawn the division of the players, but wil do the final selection if I get to meet the players in person...

as For QL Crick Team, we will have to wait just a little longer to find the right set...till then we will start these small games for fun (and spirit of the Game) and out of these, we will slowly and soon and shortly get to the QL TEAM...

nominate a captain to lead the team as Qatarliving Cricket team and can come up to compete with several other teams in town. like lankan tigers, chaudaries, and malik, fardan, commercial bank etc.

Anyways back to our QL Premier League...(;)... The match is being alsmost scheduled for May 09th 2008, Friday, at 1530 - 1830 hrs (Depending on the performance of light...)...

And yes we would like to catch up for a quick chai (NOT COFFEE), but CHAI, somewhere either this week or the following, so we can then divide the teams on a bit more fair basis...

Guys it is not somethig that is feasible, for a simple reason, that we would have to meet on a Weekday and weekdays are generally not that feasible for such a big gathering...otherwise we would have to meet on a Friday...

cricket fans can i suggest a new venue. there is a very huge parking area next to the stadium near the old soudan roundabout(btween soudan and al waab signal) cant remember the name of the stadium. i have seen lot of guys playing there on fridays.

i dont think you need any permission for this.

First look at that spae for car parking just in front of rydges

then come a lil back side of Rydges you will find it urself you can see the area is empty with well paved roads and parking there bit far from rydges say 500meters

I will play only when they start playing cricket in indoor stadium..lol I am a batswoman and wicket keeper...but I am not playing...sorry guys... will check with hubby if he is intersted.

helloooo ..i bowl spin 2 n bat in slog overs...n feildin great....

Where is my name in the playing list? One suggestion: we should start early since for Friday prayers, I'll have to leave at 11am.

As for introduction, I can bat in any position but usually have opened in my past teams, bowl fast and field fast.

i play in middle and bowl spin...ba more on the batting side..

fielding...silly point...j/k
