They said Canada, Germany and Australia are the friendliest place for all expats?

Well it depends how you define friendly really... Friendly enviroment? friendly people? i would have to say thailand is one my top, i got a house in northern thailand and when ever i go there i am like the local village tourist attraction. They are not hostile in their staring or trying to be rude (anyone who has been will understand) they just want to be apart of your life in some small way and vice verse. I have seen people there who have absolutley nothing, when my car broke down one of the families their rode 30 something miles on his little nifty 50 scooter just to get the part needed to fix my hunk of junk.

i honestly couldn't see that happening in any westernized country.

The United Arab Emirates was found to be the most difficult for expats; only 54 percent of those surveyed said they'd made friends with locals.

Probably the survey is true!
