Festival City Phase 1, IKEA

It's a clone of Dubai Festival City and it's been built by the same organisation - Al Futtaim - although here with an element of Qatari sponsorship/finance.

All I wanna know is that will they serve Swedish Meat Balls?

Why is this place named Festival City? Gives me an impression that people would be bursting firecrackers and throwing colors on each other all the year round.

The ikea in Abu Dhabi will deliver it within Abu Dhabi for 100 riyals and assemble it for 200. It your purchase is over 2500, then delivery and assembly are free.

2. somebody gets it for you

3. somebody will take it to the cashier for you

4. somebody will take if to the car for you

5. somebody will take it out of the car for you

6. somebody will take to your house

7. somebody will assemble it for you

8. You use it.

Never had an IKEA bed, they are always so low down you may as well just stick a mattress on the floor.

How many screws had you had left over the last time you tried to assemble your IKEA bed, TB?

I wonder if they can read the instructions properly and also how many screws will be left over when they have finished building it.

I think most probably it will be open by Dec....am waiting

Can't wait for IKEA to open. Would love to see the Nissan Tiidas loaded up with flatpacks ..
