A CRY FOR HELP

Dear Everyone,

I would like to implore your assistance for my sister who just came here in Doha last Oct. 1. We are looking for any ADMIN/HR/SECRETARIAL positions. The urgency is quite high as we only have two weeks remaining for the expiration of her visa.

Due to unforeseen and shocking events, she lost the opportunity of being hired by a well-known local company, the identity of which we cannot disclose because we still have high regard for the company and their people. After a week of having been interviewed and given a verbal offer, she was asked to sign the offer letter yesterday morning at around 11:30 a.m. However, few hours after that, around 7:30 p.m. she received a call saying that the position can no longer be offered to her due to reorganization within the department.

This is a very frustrating and depressing news considering that out of our faith on the integrity of the company, we turned down other job offers and even made arrangements for my sister's husband to come here to Doha by next month. I guess, we believed too much and trusted with childlike faith.

Now, we are grasping at straws hoping that we shall be able to find a job within the time limit imposed by the validity of the visa.
