I don't thing SUV's are show off...I think there are real comfort for moms with strollers .We always need extra space:)))I always said ,that going out with a child is like moving out from your house...you have to get so many things.I moved recently from US and we have sedan and SUV there and there is a huge difference .Sitting higher up ,better vision and it feels some how saver!I am about to get my driving license thins week and shop for a car.
Our Forrester was 71,000 for the top model. It is very fast and comfortable if you are looking for a slightly smaller 4wd. Actually it's all wheel drive whatever that means. We drive it off road all the time and have never got stuck even last year when there was lots of mud. The cd player is also good.
ash , as I said it depends what do you want from the car.... I go offroad quite ofen, thats why i have a SUV. Not for showing off but for the fact that sedans are not made for offroading. In town there is really no use for a SUV but considering the traffic it really helps!1. Like if you ever have been stucked on the way back from industrial area. you see a lot of SUV's crossing you from the side, that really saves time!2. ever got stucked in the parking of city centre, then you need to get half way on the pavement and get out quick! but you need an SUV3. Qatar will be going under development stages and construction for the next 4-5 years, so the roads are screwed up, and you have to go through diversions a lot, a lot of times you will be driving on uneven ground, thats where it comes handy. otherwise i agree that in comfort and luxury sedans are better!thankyou
buying any car, sedan or SUV depends on what you really want, what kind of driver you are, and what do you need the car for and also how much money you have. a lot of People go after resale values because the job situation over is not very favourable and you don't know when your time is up for no reason , so people buy cars that would sell quickly without much loss. But by doing so you have to compromise on luxury, driving pleasure , design etc. there are lot of good cars that don't really have resale value here.
first - for value between Rav4, CRV, Pajero & Nativa. Nativa would be the best if your tight on a budget.
second - why Nativa is not favourable to many, is the acceleration speed of the vehicle itself. but if your not a speed demon. it would be fine (for me).
third - if you're looking for a resale value, you better go for toyota lad cruiser, as a lot of people are going ga ga on toyota don't know why. since a vehicle is not an appreciating asset anyway.

its not only for show off, i agree that some people do that but it has a lot of functions too that a sedan, no matter how expensive cannot match.
hmmmmm you mean the women in the SUV? OR the women being bulllied??
life's too short so make the most of it, you only live but once.......

why SUVs are very common here i don't see a deffrantial benifit of SUV over sedan cars as most of expats don't go desert so why
don't say it is wide cuz this is right in the trunk ONLY but the rest is normal
i prefer sedans
i see SUV is only to show off!!!!!!!!!!!
Try GMC acadia.
new best buy and the greatest resale value -
1. toyota land cruiser
2. toyota land cruiser
3. toyota land cruiser
