classified sales in QL

Hi, I keep looking at the classified sales in QL and am very amused at the prices people ask for electronic items. WHY O WHY dont people look on the net for the new price before asking for ridiculous prices for second hand items(everyone please note, once you have taken it out of the shop it INSTANTAEOUSLY becomes second hand, it can therefore NOT be sold as new......you get the idea.....)
I recently saw a camera (second hand) on QL being sold for a higher price then the new price......
Wake up sellers, look on ebay to get an indication of prices and stop dreaming.

May i know which legitimate store is that toty? i might get luck with this price that postage is included. QRs. 2,690 more or less $700 that is almost halfway discount.

I agree with you once seal is broken or box is open before you? then its a second hand.

But Doha Rate when somebody will sell D90 with kit lens for QRs. 4,000 that is very reasonable price. sometimes you have to consider what is the current price in the market "locally" before you take a risk buying online using your credit card or paying via wire transfer.

or better yet have patience in waiting for sure somebody will post D90 for 2,000 Second hand. and good luck if it doesn't have any fall back..

Whilst it is the sellars right to sell his/her item for any price, please think.

BTW, the the price for the D90 camera (2690) was not from ebay but a legitimate store and postage was included, it was a like for like comparison.

Its my item and my price (and there is no right price) ... why should it bother anyone... if its OK with you take it else leave it... if you cant afford it and are expecting to buy it for almost free then thats another story...

Most people are lazy to do their homework (me included at times)

We assume that something posted in the classfieds should be a bargain :O(

Thats not the bottom line, and no it does NOT depend on the seller, a seller cant think of selling it for a price thats 50 to 100 bucks less than the new, coz then you might as well buy it brand new.

The bottom line is, if you are not satisfied don’t buy….the price for second hand entirely depends on buyer/seller

the car prices is what amazes me...every thing is BRAND NEW...LADY DRIVEN...even if its over 150k mileage or a freaking 1998 model car.

Forget the higher prices that they sell for. You should see them negotiate. They always put their prices 300 bucks more when selling and they ask for 300 bucks less when buying from someone else :P

at least we sellers in QL trying to bring some good price for the QL members..

@indiantoty - regarding the D90 may be the person has bought from Salam for a higher price..so he has full right to resell them for 2700QAR

Please note not everyone has Ebay and paypal account, and many of them scared to do online shoppong..for them its a golden price...

Those who do online shopping they will never buy anything from QL, as simple as that..:)

It might be 2690QAR on eBay, but you try buying it here for that price!

I am selling my two year old Sony Alpha a350 DSLR. Only used a lot, and not as new for only QR 3000 if anyone is interested. That's what I paid for it two years ago but if people are prepared to pay, well what the heck.

QL sellers are really idiots and greedy. I too noticed this. At the most they will keep price 50 - 100 QR less then market price. A person who can afford to buy 1000 QR stuff, why should he go for second hand with no bill in your name, limited guarantee time just for say 100 QR saving? Moreover one does not know how it has been handled or mishandled by seller.
