Dear Sonia,

They are already slapped. Do you know, when somebody is very ordinary in every aspect, all the surrounding idiots will feel themselves as intelligent because they cannot compete with the real smart intelligent people. But when a situation comes where such a category is forced to face a term called "Quality", of course they cannot match that even in their wildest dream, so the only alternative is to post such stupid baseless threads, to cool down the fire of jealousy and frustration in their minds, may be there are some more like minded group, who is doing some "Yes, Yes" to these posts, by consoling themselves ok let us bash wherever possible, because as I said that is the only way they can take out their frustration.

Just because the category of quality is less in number here, and bull shit is more in quantity, it can never supercede a QUALITY.

It is a history that always jealousy minds have been targeting the ones who really create a inferiority complex and insecurity in others because of their success. You will never feel insecured or jealous by seeing a student who is average in studies right?

This is the reality, so I repeat they are already slapped by their own posts here.

Indians are all over the world only for one reason because they have this wonderful skill of getting adjusted with any culture or community.

Because:

1)They never crib about workload

2)They never show aggression

3)They are learn fast and are good followers

4)They are single minded and very goal oriented

5)They don't compare

6)They can survive without any social life

Personally, I don't think these are positive traits because even if they are so high in number and quality, they are always slaves. I wish we would learn to fight war to regain the self respect of our country, the way Hitler, rather than begging to people for our right to survive. But it is my personal view which most of the Indians won't agree with.

Are you nuts?......no doubt I am crazy about you!

India have no proverty comparing to Pakistan my dear, just see your face in mirror first before you judge others. I am from Kerala but no keralites will work in Kerala properly. They suck and clean the shoe with tounge if they demand, they will bend their backborn infront or other Arab nationalities at the same time will not listen any other Keralites or will work properly in Kerala. (Sorry to say).

Indians can be easily understand by face and outlook but you can't recognize them easily they are from which part of India, to an Indian they should say from Kerala and to other nationalities they should say Indian and of course next question will be "which part of India" ?

In my view all the contributions good or bad characteristics is of an individual irrespective of wherever he or she hails from. No geographical location can determine anybody's personal attributes nor it should be gauged on that basis.

It is all about one's self attitude and behaviour. a whole country cannot be generalised

Adequate Human resource is the basis of any developing nation. Some are developed already and some are still in the process of developing and expanding. So a third party must really appreciate the fact that India as a country can provide the best people of any class, be it the skilled workers or the top level management, to any remote places of the earth. They are quick learners and easily adaptive. But still India doesn't weep over the moved resources, rather She knows she still has enough professionals to build the nation, and an observer nods his head with a pleasant smile when he sees the advancements in education, technology, rocket science, tourism, investments, media, computers and softwares and so on. May be population plays a big role in this, but their education helps them to dream beyond boundaries even in their hard times, while liking to be called as an 'INDIAN' wherever they go!

Mumbai : Oct. 09

This may well be the ultimate ode to the globetrotting Indian who, for centuries, has been criss-crossing the world in search of opportunity and adventure — Indian citizens are today permanent residents of all but three countries in the world.

The ministry of overseas Indian affairs has registered the presence of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in 180 of 183 countries of the world. The numbers may vary from just two in Lebanon to almost a million in the United States of America but the fact is that Indians call the whole world their home. It is only in North Korea, Pakistan and Bhutan that not a single NRI is to be found.

NRIs are Indians, who like steel tycoon Laxmi Mittal, proudly hold on to their blue Indian passports while living in another country. They are also different from ordinary Indian citizens who obtain visas and go abroad to work or study for a limited period of time. NRIs remain citizens of India but enjoy the right to live and work permanently in another country of their choice.

Indians can now be found in the remotest corners of the Earth. Go to the Republic of Palau, a speck of an island nation in the Pacific Ocean which is one of the world's youngest sovereign states, and you will find five NRIs there. And don't be surprised to find 20 of them living in the mountains of Bolivia or a 375-strong Indian community living in tiny Djibouti on the Horn of Africa.

Historically, Indian communities have had a major presence in several parts of the world. Be it Gujarati merchants who settled in East Africa, Tamil Chettiars who lived in south-east Asia or indentured labourers taken from Bihar to work on plantations in the West Indies, Indians have been migrating to other countries for centuries. During the two World Wars, they fought for the British army and settled down in the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. The NRIs were a post-independence addition to this long list of migrants.

But it is also true that, historically, the NRI's favoured destinations have been First World countries or West Asia, where employment opportunities abound. But the latest data confirm that in a globalized world, NRIs are making opportunities in literally every corner of the Earth.

The largest number of NRIs are in Saudi Arabia (17 lakh) followed by the United Arab Emirates (14 lakh) and the US (9 lakh) but what is more fascinating is they can also be found — albeit in minuscule numbers — in Slovenia (10), Montserrat (10), Iceland (21), Bosnia and Herzegovina (30) and Burkina Faso (150).

Experts also point out that, if People of Indian Origin (PIOs) — a term for citizens of other countries who have an Indian ancestry — are included, then both Pakistan and Bhutan would also find it difficult to shake off the Indian links to their populations.

That is why I tell you clean your backyard, dont say that indian people are not compensated in their back home. get this fact across your head during recession/global crisis, indians were those fortunate ones who went back to india due to recession hit and got the job double of their salaries, but at the same time, I was in Dubai at that time, I saw, (please dont be offended) 70% of your people in that country were hidden in the basement parking of many residential buildings running away from their landlords as they were living more than their means, some of them even put behind the bars.

Yes Indeed you were right in a way that my heart broke seeing your country fellow people's plight there in Dubai. I am not boasting, before coming to this country due to my hubby's promotional transfer, (during recession time please note it) I had helped most of the your fellow country girls with food, clothing and some money.

I dont need to break my heart for answering this thread, as my previous reply was a fitting ones to yours.

chinx lady....u are absolutely correct... stating the fact is criticism... but it depends completely on the intention and the way of expressing it out... if u are criticizing someone with the intention of improving a person or a state then its correct but if your intention is to hurt someones feelings, to degrade someones stature or make fun then its absurd... i hav a filipine colleague of mine who forwards me email which shows negative aspects of india, he never forwards me any other email although he receives a lot of funny or educational stuff.... when it happened the second time...i could not stop myself and therewas a furious war of words and with hard mind i had to say a lot of negative things abt filipine.... after a month i received another email from him which again is saying bad things about India... then i decided not to debate with him anymore if i did it then what is the difference between myself and him....(there is a saying EVENTHOUGH YOU PUT A DOGS TAIL IN A PIPE FOR 10000 YEARS ITS NOT gonna BE STRAIGHT )it applies here.... in a span of 4 years i rcvd 3 email from this guy and all 3 are criticizing india... NOW CHINX LADY... THIS IS CRITICIZING WITH BAD INTENTION... hop u got my point... this guy in the subject is a well educated one.... CHINX i dont hav any hard feeling against you... I still consider u as a friend.... because bad deeds of 1 or 2 guyz is not enough to black mark a whole country but if it is more than average then we need to think about it seriously.... The people of India are among the most hospitable people in the world. They take pains to make their guests feel at home. Even today, Indian people believe in their age-old traditions and make sure the same values are passed onto future generations. The rich traditional background of our country fascinates the current generation. Even though they wear the latest fashionable accessories and flaunt the best cell phones, when it comes to respecting elders and following the religious practices, they make sure that there is no chance for complaints. The diverse country of India is equally diverse in its racial ethnicity also. India is probably one country in the world where you will find so many races and cultures living together in perfect harmony.

Dear Joe,

You are 100% right. It is a human nature that the people will never get attracted towards the losers because they are losers, they know. They dont have anything to criticise them. Jealousy and insecured minds will always target the outstanding performers, as they are the ones who are receiving appaluses, appreciations. To counter that these ignorants try to make an unsuccessful attempt to let them down by talking like this. This way they are taking their frustration out, cooling their jealousy minds.

Yes, you are right.

Why they are outside....

They are tooooo many and don't like to compete among themselves.

Limited opportunities at Home for most talented people...so those with average or less than average skilled people go out where there is demand and make their destiny.

Highly qualified professionals get very well paid in Middle East and Western countries (MNC's) such as NASA, COKE, MN Banks, Communication Service Providers (Qtel, Hutch and Vodafone)...

These are few immediate reasons come to my head, if need more justifiable reasons, do let me know or PM...

BTW whats your problem....,did u fall in love with an Indian? ;-)

Have a nice weekend!

After the 1970s oil boom in the Middle East, numerous Indians emigrated for work to the Gulf countries. At a time Indians out done the total Arab and rest Non Arab population of the region.

Since then Middle East started to be known as the biggest hub of Non Residential Indians or more precisely locals started putting interest and faith in their culture and native. And normally, they got more used to the names like Bombay, Chennai, Kerala, Hyderabad and numerous others, still not forgetting the fact that all these parts make the bigger India!

With that stand point you may still listen to "I'm from Kerala" or "I'm from Bombay" titles. Its a country of 'unity in diversities'!

@ Indika,we're a billion plus, there's only so much place within India y'know...every Indian family is allowed 2 children in India,no: 3 onwards has to be sent outside the country,so since average Indian families have 7 kids,2 are in India while remaining 5(or more,we're like bunny rabbits us Indians) are around the world, hence the large Indian population outside India...& since we're on the topic, would you ask your Govt. to prevent refugees from piling into boats everyday & doing the short hop across to our Chennai(Madras) coast, where we then end up housing, feeding & clothing them? we're streched as it is,we don't exactly need non-Indians coming & adding to that, thank you...As for jobs & development, forget Indians, citizens of the developed world now work & live in India, they only holiday in Srilanka, the day that equation changes,we'll discuss this again, until then, you have no leg to stand on...good day :)
