It seems to be a common theme: denial, exposure, and then apology. There is enough evidence to suggest deliberate targetting (have you not seen those home made movies in which soldiers have fired on civilians as they drive past; or kill civilians and take photos with them as trophies??)

Apparently the australian soldiers can murder and get away with it:

This is unfortunatly a conflict/war and sadly people die.

With all conflicts/wars we always are sickened by the deaths of children.

If you look at all wars/conflicts innocent people/children die.

It's awful and wrong but that sadly it is the way it is.

Just countering emotive language with reason. War zones are war zones. Not even going to debate the reasons, justifications or advisability of the war....just simply stating the facts on the ground.

Of course It disturbs me that innocent children, women and men have lost their lives.

Its all too easy to make excuses and cover oneself by blaming the other side.

Whilst "murder" is the wrong word to use here, I wonder if we'd use the same arguments if it was our children.

So many have perished already, but moment the news hits then everyone possibly responsible is on defensive mode! Cannot they then avoid such accidents if they are indeed accidents?no one willing to take the blame and each one instead blaming the others. Will it ever end at this rate? They were kids..Allahu Must3aan.Please take out the trash and evildoers but surely surely something can be done to prevent killing civilians!

'While insurgents are responsible for most civilian deaths in Afghanistan'

So maybe the title of the OP should be:

'NATO continues to murder civilians, but not as many as Afghans'

Would that be a fair statement?

Maybr Kharzi should give his fellow countrymen a 'last warning'. I believe he tried that once - how's that working out for him? How many times have they tried to kill him now?

Sad fact is that innocent people get killed in war zones - the difference, and what makes it murder, is if the innocents are deliberatly targeted.
