I apologise for anybody who has been inconvenienced by this problem. The phone WILL be answered between the hours of 9 - 12 and 4 - 6 . If you need to contact QAWS in an emergency outside of these hours, please send a text message stating the nature of the problem and in the case of genuine emergencies we will call you back as soon as possible.
Snowy is right...leave a message or better yet, a text message and I'm sure they will get right back with you.
QAWS phone is answered by volunteers, ie, people who do not receive a paycheck for working there, who also have very busy lives. If it rings when they are driving or taking a shower, no, they aren't going to answer it. Plus, it is on a hala card system and a lot of the time there is not enough cash on hand to charge the phone so they have to wait for a re-call.
Even I also contacted several times long back but no one answers me. No one even bother to pick up the phone.
May be they are busy

They can get busy, and the animals take priority over answering the phone. Try texting that number and leave a message that way. Hope that helps
