Woqod opens gas station in Al Wakra
Qatar Fuel (Woqod) inaugurated Al Wakra petrol station after its renovation and maintenance works, on Tuesday.
Engineer Ibrahim Jaham Al Kuwari, CEO, Woqod, said the station was undergoing maintenance and renovation works in line with safety and security standards adopted by the company throughout its stations.
“But in light of the pressing need and increasing demand for petroleum products in Al Wakra, we decided to inaugurate the station to better serve the local community and our clients in the area.
“Al Shamal petrol station needed significant renovation and maintenance works, which will take considerate time, but Woqod sensed recently an urgent need among our clients in this area, which lacks such services.
“Woqod decided to provide all petroleum products through specialised delivery tanks at Al Shamal station round the clock, to be effective immediately as a temporary procedure while finishing construction of a portable station in a few days.
“This mobile station shall have the capacity to provide essential petroleum products (diesel and petroleum) and services urgently needed by our customers in the area,” he added.
He reaffirmed Woqod’s commitment towards its clients and readiness to serve them across all locations so as not to leave any opportunity for a third party to abuse the need and specific circumstances of certain areas, in line with Woqod’s keenness to fulfil its social responsibility always in all circumstances.
