Requirements for marriage

Is there someone who knows the requirements for posting marriage plan in Qatar?

This is quite confussing. I am a Filipino and my fiance is Greek, both of us are working here in Doha and we'll be getting married in Greece.

Practically, I don't need to do anything here.

I was told by a staff in the Philippine Embassy in Greece that I have to have my marriage intent be posted for 15 days at the Philippine Embassy in Qatar since I am holding a Resident (Working) Visa. It'll be posted for another 15 days in Philippine Embassy in Greece after I receive the clearance from here.

I tried calling Ph Embassy here but I was told to come over to know the requirements.

I would really appreciate your ideas and comments...

I agree with you. I don’t think you need to go through all the formalities mentioned since you are not getting married in Qatar. What you need to ask them is the requirements and documentation for marriage registry and marriage certificate authentication after your wedding....but that's another complicated story for mixed couples.
