Older Kids Activities?
By aprilfamily •
I read lots of things on this board for younger kids, playgroups and such, but haven't seen much for older kids, say 10 and up. I have an 11 year old son and 13 year old daughter. Can anyone suggest some activities for them to get involved in to help them meet other kids their ages?
Thanks in advance.
That must have been an old link - this one works

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
rugby season is coming to an end soon (if i am correct) so if that is the case ya will have to try later in the yr when the new season starts
life's too short so make the most of it, you only live but once.......
Thanks everyone for the great ideas! I'm definitely going to check in to the swimming and tae kwon doe. The rugby sounds interesting, but the link isn't working. I'll try giving them a call if I can find a number.
We are planning on joining Dana Club within the next couple of weeks, so hopefully they can meet some kids there.
your son and my son are the same age .....maybe they can have a play date ....PM me...

Not sure about daughter, but there is a football academy in Doha call Evolution soccer. Maybe you can try that out for your son.
