College students/others who can tutor during the day?

Hello,

I am having great difficulty finding a good school placement for my son. He'll be in 8th grade but has learning disabilities. I'm considering using an on-line homeschooling curriculum and having a tutor/teacher come to the house for a few hours daily or at least a couple of times/week. Any ideas for how I can find someone? I won't arrive in Doha until late August, and start work almost immediately.
Does anyone home school?
