Sony Experia S Upgrade Problem

After I upgrade my Sony Experia S hp from Android Version 2.6 to 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, I could not send/receive any more meesage as it gives error (Your Messaging Has Stopped).

Do I need to re-format to the same version or different version or any setting to be changed? I realy appreciate the help. Thanks.
