Vessel Traffic Operator Required

Your job will be to Interact with ships to deliver the Vessel Traffic Information Service.

Operate the equipment for communications, data collection, data analysis and establishing traffic imagery.
You will also transmit information at required times, either when a vessel requests it or when deemed necessary by the VTS e.g. when there is a rapid deterioration in weather conditions.
Respond to emergencies including distress, marine pollution and any other special circumstances for the VTS area.

Previous maritime experience in Merchant Navy perferably in tanker 4 to 5 years.
- Officer of the Watch Navigation Certificate.
- Minimum VHF DSC Operator Certificate.
- Radar Operators Certificate.
- Excellent command of the English Language.
