UNPREDICTED PEOPLE OF AL KHEBRA

Marie Bernadette Bernardo
By Marie Bernadett...

I was working for almost 9 months but i taught that everything was fine my intentions were for the unity and camaraderie of all the instructress. Generally so many different faces i encounter i never imagine and came into my mind that my roommates can do such things to destroy once reputation for there on sake. I dont want to tell what kind of person you are but one thing I can for surely say that I was never been a two face person and never uses someone to get something I wanted. I can say that I live Al Khebra with my head stand and i appreciate so much to the friends I've seen and known on the last days I have. When someone's pulling me down I can speak to myself that I never "ASK ANYTHING TO MY STUDENT ANY TYPES OF GIFT OR MONEY," and HAVE ANY INDECENT RELATIONSHIP to them. I only know that I give all the support and best teaching to my students and even to the students of my colleagues always ready to give hands to help them. I never been a user nor destroy once reputation even I know what there doing. With the management I was very thankful to Mr. Umar for giving me a chance which I know I tried to be good for that chance but I really don't know the real reason but as i told you I consider you as my father. To Mr Mabrouk thanks for everything I know that you have so many plans on me but just because of the people who wants to pull me down everything was gone. To Mr. Kefah no hatred it's only part of your work what you've known to have right decission but one thing I hope next time take the two side story as a HR Manager you should be the middleman to uplift and boost our MORALE. I hope and pray that all the intructress be united and stop asking for gifts and money, telling stories about your family even crying so that youll be granted, borrowing money...and even flirting to male and female students. Learn to accept the reality of life that you need to SATISFY on what you have always remember that your there to Qatar to work for your family and you are a community helper that gives best and correct knowledge to students. You know who you are? Those person who pull me down if you only think I was the middle person to sacrifice and aim to be united all of YOU! Think of this happenings....when I was on the first group I have problems with the second group then when I start to go with the SECOND group the second group I begun to have problems with first grouP hehehehe... it's simply logically that the second group was very bad they plan very much of me if you will look thursday and friday incident happens to me with the student which i only meet 3 days and i never do or ask anything and friday my phone was left in the room i can prove it because i can even ask my friend to get my phone to that person then saturday was the horrible day for me I was TERMINATED without any prejudice nobody talk to me. I was so friendly and a matter of fact very trusty to everyone even my mobile and other personal
things you can borrow im not a greedy and selfish person that contradicts on the termination grounds regarding to my colleagues you what kind of person I am I never make all of you put into problems but all I know try to help you before the management know.To all my students I'm appealing to all of you to help me to clean my name regarding that they accused me of poor performance how it happens most of my student take one on there test, having indecent affair which is not true because I have family and children which is whom I love most and NEVER ASK IN RETURN FOR GOOD TEACHING SUCH AS MONEY OR GIFT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EXPERIENCING LIVING AND WORKING TO QATAR YOUR NOW PART OF MY LIFE THAT CANNOT BE REMOVE ON ME. I KNOW EVERYBODY WHO REALLY KNOW ME MISSES ME A LOT THE AL KHEBRA MOST POPULAR AND SOFT HEARTED BIG GIRL.

Improve your customer care service please, tell the people who is sitting in the reception that we are not your staff,

When I was there last week, they asked me to do their jobs .

I paid some money to them regarding the driving test , when I asked them the proof for the payment they asked me to make copy of the original bill and return the original to them, they never thinking that if something happened while I am operating the photo copy machine who will be responsible for that ???

If I got Electric shock ……

If the machine got damaged from me ……. Like they are many chances ……

And they are careless , whenever we ask any doubts they used shout to us, what is this ?????

And the instructors not getting good salary, that’s why they used to beg for money to the students , if we will not pay the money they will not teach us anything ……

Even one of friend complaint when the instructor used her for disturbing money, and the management told her they will warn him and deduct 500Qr from his salary, also they change the instructor ……….. its really amazing that new instructor told her all the past details abt her complaint and he asked 250Qr and if she do not wish to pay he will not teach her, also he didn’t forgot to warn her if she make complaint she will not get good course like another instructor will start class then he may not open his mouth etc………

And finally she paid 250Qr to him, I am telling from my experience please don’t deal with AL_kebra ………

U will loose ur money and time

@dmigtysolomon: which part you do not understand? "No License, Take 40days Full Course Training"

and as you said your daughter took 2 exams on her 17th and 27th... did you see it now? that's why it is better to take the test after her 20th training. she took it to early, that's why she failed :p and for her the 13days remaining, what if she failed the her 2nd try... and since she passed it already.. CONGRATZ!!! and here is one thing... if you pay for your car insurance for a year and didnt get involve in any accident, can you refund your money? (and if you are lucky, you can scratch your car in your first week of driving, good way to use your comprehensive insurance) =p

... you are giving the explanations as it is LEGALLY. If people have any more questions they can direct them to the traffic department. I would not go into any more details, why should people question things the way they do? They did it, however they did it, get on with LIFE! Make sure you don't drive like we see many driving on the roads who probably had one driving lesson or even none!

If people know the essentials to pass the driving test then why not passing it? You all must know how many people are nervous knowing they have to prove they can drive to pass the test! At least after passing the test they know they can relax and I bet many of them will really show their skills and apply everything they have learned.

If you have any 'reasonable' questions about the course itself, go ahead and post them. If you just want to rant about what YOU think is right or wrong... you are wasting your time - rules are there to be followed and YOU won't be able to change them, so suck it up!

QUOTED:

"What I can't understand is why require to have a full course if they will allow the driving test midway or even earlier of the supposed mandatory full course?"

The explanation that the Driving school gave me (though it's not Al Khebra) is "if you failed halfway or less of your 40 days you can still consume the remaining days."

Full course is allowed to take max. of 3 test... but I don't know now if it's still the same...

"BRING IT ON CHAKA DOLL!!!"

By anonymous• 1 Mar 2010 10:30

of his/her home country, he/she can take the test directly even withouta refresher course, right? So it's not a traffic department policy!

What I can't understand is why require to have a full course if they will allow the driving test midway or even earlier of the supposed mandatory full course?

And I stand corrected, (I ask my daughter), she took the first test on the 17th day and the second on the 27th day and still practice and consume the last 13 days of her course just to get "MY money's worth". Get it?

i got ur point ...

Yes, we do allow it .Like what I have said on my previous messages ... it is the student's choice whether to take the test or not after the 20th days of their training, with the help of the instructors they can decide whether their students are capable/ready to take the test or not.

As per the traffic department they must at least complete the 2oth days. Traffic dept. sets specific number of trainings before they will allow the students to take the test not only for full course but for other courses as well.

driving tests/schools here in Qatar. That's a fact. Basically, people question ANYTHING that they are not accustomed to...logically or not. For clarification or just for the heck of discussion.

Mean stated only the facts(as currently practiced):

1. if one have a valid license, you take a refresher course. Not because one don't know how to drive, but to acquaint the student on the traffic situation/rules and regulations in Qatar.

2. If one DOESN'T HAVE a license or expired driver license, one has to take the full course and considered as a NEW STUDENT.

SIMPLE as that...accept it or not...it's the way they do it here in Qatar.

My 2 cents on the subject...GOOD NIGHT ALL!!!

By anonymous• 28 Feb 2010 23:42
anonymous

even if they have not completed the course? Will you allow your students to take the test even if they have not completed their course?

Don't get me wrong, Me-ann, I have nothing against Al Khebra, mine is more on that presumption that there is something fishy about that "policy" requirement? I find it not logical as to what is happening in actual?

Yes we do submit to traffic department all the names of the students together with the copy of their training cards before they can take the test for their evaluation.

By anonymous• 28 Feb 2010 23:32

Definitely u can have many options for taking Qatar license coz u HAVE A LICENSE in Phils:

1. U can take direct test WITHOUT taking refresher course.

2. U can take direct test & take refresher course for 5 days (like what u did)

3. U can take short course, half course & full course (ur choice)

Before it was allowed to take half course even if u dont have a license .

Now with the new policy, u have to take the full course if u dont have any valid license to present.

I should know better coz we are working for them.

Have a good night and always drive safely! :)

I took a 5-hour "refresher" at United (just to learn the rules and techniques of the different driving test, pocket, L-parking, road etc.) and pass the test. My wife, who's been driving in Manila (as Med Rep)took a 12-day course just to refresh and passed the driving test one time (at Al Raya) and my daughter took a full course not because the police wants it but in my insistance (also at Al Raya). She took the driving test after the 2oth and 27th (failed the first time) and consumed the remaining 13 days after getting her license just to get the money's worth.

The police are not concerned whether you study or not as long as you pass the driving test!

"Why is my PM access blocked?"

By anonymous• 28 Feb 2010 23:05

will it only be logical that if it is requirement, why do they allow the student to take the driving test with incomplete full course time? If the police do belief that it needs that long time to learn, why allow to take the exam?

Do the school submit to the police the name of their students taking full course?

I took my driving lessons at AL RAYYAN driving school and there were times I have to miss my schedule because I couldn't find a regular transport at that time or my work shift won't allow me to. I always call the driving school and my instructor that I have to postpone and it's ok with them. It took me 2 months before I could resume my lessons, then I took my test and I passed :-)

By Vivo Bonito• 28 Feb 2010 19:45

to marie bern.... i was saddened of your fate with Al khebra... however, asking an appeal right from those students whom u handled before is just a sort of implication that you are begging for justice thats seems u couldn't have.

your student passing records would certainly show how good you are with ur job. if your passing rate record could attest to the superiority against that another person whom pulled u down, then at least u have the very reason why should u be terminated at first. rumors against u will then be a hearsays then, that is only ---if u had proven.

By Vivo Bonito• 28 Feb 2010 19:29
Vivo Bonito

i seconded the opinion basing on the driving school policy.

it connotes that taking the exam test is a student prerogative to proceed or not. it is not for reason of taking the course short passing it quickly and take back the unused portion.

on the very first instance, traffic dept rule is -- no license, a full course policy. that was very very clear.

By anonymous• 28 Feb 2010 19:16
anonymous

Sorry to correct you but maybe u misunderstood it, we dont intend students to take the test on their 20th days of training, it is their choice since most of them are only after their license.

To make it more clearly, it is the policy of Traffic Department to require students to take full course for students who doesn't have license. It is also their discretion to approve students not to take the full course even if they dont have license due to some considerations for which it is not under our control.

About the refund after their 20th days of training, every business establishments has its own policy. Once they reach a certain number of training days they cant refund it anymore same applies when buying things in the store, u cant return/refund it after a specified period of time.

For some reasons, students really need more training hours for them to learn specially those who has zero-knowledge on driving. I'm sure it will be a great help for them to have such trainings coz it is their life and the life of the people they will encounter on the road who are at stake. I'm sure u r aware about the high percentage of road accidents everywhere. So y take the risk after all we only have 1 life to live.

since you intend to put the student on a test after 20 days (actually if a person is fast-learner, 10 days is sufficient to learn, even for beginners), why not return the days unused or let the students complete his/her lessons even though he/she passed the test!

Actually this question is for all driving schools but since you are on the limelight now, maybe Al Khebra can answer first, is there malice or bad intent for schools to push for a full course of 40 days? Do you honestly believe that a person need that long to study driving?

paying good salary is just 1 option but it doesnt mean that if they receive higher salary then they will be satisfied & not ask for gifts or anything of value.

I would like to explain to u the broader side, i mean not specifically to our employees but to everyone .

Having a high salary will not stop the people from any form of cheating. Most people are not satisfied with what they have they still crave for more. Just look everywhere, the Presidents, businessmen, billionaire's...they've got lots of money but they still cheat people.

I always believe, that it depends on the personality of the person. If they grew up practicing good values at home and living with it , then everything follows. It's not the question of how much they earn.

As u have said, it is the practice of "most" driving instructors ... by reporting it to the Management it will be a great help for us. Whether it would be a small amount/big its still not right to "ASK" from students as it is their job to give them good training. Giving reward/gift voluntarily is permissible as this is how some students show them their appreciation.

So, for the "would-be" students or any clients in general of any establishments/institutions .... let's be cautious/vigilant about the people we encounter. Don't let ourselves be victimized and unknowingly/unintentionally we became part and responsible for their wrongdoings somehow for tolerating their activities.

Let's make this world a better place to live in. We can start from ourselves. Nothing is impossible.

By anonymous• 14 Feb 2010 14:08
anonymous

It is very simple and logic it is a quite practice of most of the driving instructors they have fixed amount for first day. We dont want to upset the instructor for small amount as she is the one to train my wife. I did not mention any name and no bad intention to report this.

By anonymous• 11 Feb 2010 17:04
anonymous

In behalf of the Management, we are sorry for the bad experience your wife had from our instructor.

Actually, the lady you are referring to was already terminated.

The Management is trying their best to protect the good name of the Company and we will not allow such things to happen again. The reason we are encouraging all our students to fill up the complaint/suggestion form in order to eliminate employees doing such activities.

May I ask, Sir how come your did not complain about her and why tolerate such acts?

As per my opinion, I always believe that nobody will be cheated/done such acts if they will not allow themselves to be cheated/or if they will not allow it to happen.

I also have same problem with Al-Kebra Staffs I dont know from which group (firt or second as you mentioned), they keep on asking money to my wife for her training and also requesting to bring next days some kinds of items like Nescafe and promised to pay but she dont ask and instructor did not faithfully return the cost. She already paid first day some money to the instructor lady. Still she was to recharge her mobile etc. etc.. Anyway atleast giving money to the instructor for the first day is common to Indias for their happy and satisfaction to get good traning.
