Qtel broadband connection issues
Hello all,
I have submitted a request for a Qtel home broadband connection on 16th April 2013.
I am new to this service and someone told me to call 115 to fix an appointment with qtel.
When i called qtel related to this ,one of the executive told me to wait for 48 hrs to get an executive online and you will get connection with in 10 days .Then i called again and they told me that you will get an appointment on 23rd of April.
Same day i got a message in mobile and mentioned that your appointment is on 28th April.
I don't know what is going on? Is it a professional service.The customer care executives don't know how to answer or deal a customer.Even they are speaking very poor English.That customer care ladies are sitting therefor something else,not interested in answering customer's query!
Is it an official telecom service for a developed country like Qatar?
Please share your experienced regarding to the Qtel service or give me a proper solution for this.
Why don't they give a faster service or connection?
this will change...they will loose the monopoly.... Vodafone is now providing the land line connections.
Vodafone Home/Fixed Broadband service is currently available only at the Pearl and Barwa City.They have more good plans.
They will offer this in other locations in the future.Lets wait till then.

It works.Speaking from Personal experience.
I feel very bad, my application was 9th april and they given me fibre optic appointment, when the technician went there were no available port connection and they rescheduled appointment today 23rd for copper connection and unfortunately all lines were fully occupied. Again I need to wait for another minimum 10 days just to add the new line and then another appointment to wait. Customer service is very poor whenever you are calling they will give you different feedback.
There should be competition here not monopoly.
