Can anyone recommend any good place to get pet supplies in Doha? I am moving to Doha from US an d I want to bring both my cat and my small parrot. Thanks!

food, etc. here that you would find in the States. Supermarkets carry Meow Mix and Purina, and a few British brands of kibble/dry food that won't be familiar to you, but that's about it. You can find Fancy Feast (at over $1 a can). You can find clay (everywhere) and clumping sand litter (only 1-2 markets carry this).

The vet offices have toys, collars, scratching posts, etc. for sale -- a decent supply to choose from.

And everything will be more expensive than it is back home.

Doha Vets and Qatar Vets both cater for Pets, plus there is a place in Doha called Souq Waqif where they have a animal market and those shops have all you want for a pet.

Many supermarkets, pet shops and the local vets supply feed, litter and accessories for cats so there will be no problem there. Just look around and find a supplier (or suppliers) that suit.

I have no personal experience of keeping birds but many people do and there is at least one shop (side of Central Market) that seems to specialise in birds and fish and their necessities. I have also seen bird feed in some of the supermarkets so I am sure you will find what you need.
